All candidates must complete the Application Form. This form must be accompanied by:

(a) the proposed title of the thesis;

(b) a detailed research proposal of approximately one thousand (1,000) words;

(c) copies of the University degrees held by the candidate, officially authenticated by the University concerned;

(d) if applicable, a copy of the certificate of proficiency in English held by the candidate (See the English Language Proficiency Testing Systems section under the LL.M. Programme for further information);

(e) two letters of reference covering the candidate's ability to undertake the Ph.D. programme. Referees should be persons who are not related to the candidate and who are familiar with the candidate's character and academic standing.
