How to Apply
Magister Juris (M.Jur.) in International Maritime Law
Prospective candidates must fill out the Research Degree Programme application form and return it to the Institute with the requisite supporting documents. Research proposals are submitted for approval to the Institute’s Academic Committee.
Applications for the M.Jur. programme shall include the following:
(a) the proposed title of the M.Jur. dissertation and
(b) a detailed research proposal of approximately one thousand (1,000) words.
Admission and enrolment of a candidate is conditional upon the availability of a suitable academic Supervisor.
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in International Maritime Law
Upon receiving the requisite recommendation from the M.Jur. Examiners, prospective candidates must fill out the Research Degree Programme application form and return it to the Institute with the requisite supporting documents. Research proposals are submitted for approval to the Institute’s Academic Committee, which meets annually between October and December. It is therefore advisable to apply by September.
Applications for the Programme shall include the following:
(a) the proposed title of the Ph.D. thesis; and
(b) a detailed research proposal of approximately one thousand (1,000) words.
Admission and enrolment of a candidate is conditional upon the availability of a suitable academic Supervisor.
